Forex Top movers: USD remains under pressure for third day; AUD stronger; CAD weaker

FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US dollar still trading under pressure amid profit taking and an early monthly and annual rebalancing. The Greenback is operated on the defensive for third day against its major competitors.

The yen also traded down on Wednesday mostly rebounding from yesterday's gains. Another bearish currency is the Canadian dollar that is paying its high correlation with the crude oil and its decline below $62.00. On majors, the top winner is the Australian dollar, which is trying to extend its rebound from 0.8225.

On majors, top gainers are: NZD/USD (+0.42%), USD/CAD (+0.22%) and AUD/USD (+0.35); top losers are CAD/JPY (-0.80%), USD/JPY (-0.59%) and CHF/JPY (-0.48%).

Other winners are USD/ZAR (0.87%), EUR/NOK (+0.72) and USD/RUB (0.61%). Other laggards: EUR/JPY (-0.43%), CAD/CHF (-0.34%) and USD/CNY (0.21%).
