USD/CHF drops below 0.9700
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF broke below 0.9750 and tumbled to 0.9675, reaching the lowest level since April 9. The pair is having the worst daily performance in a month.
USD/CHF breaks range
Since yesterday’s American session the pair was moving sideways, in a range with support above 0.9750 and resistance at 0.9790. After the relase of US economic data (PPI and retail sales) USD/CHF broke to the downside and dropped sharply more than 50 pips.
The Swiss franc is rising for the second day in a row against the US dollar, erasing most of last week losses. The pair has fallen from 1-month highs at 0.9862 toward the the daily 20-SMA that currently stands around 0.9670.
