USD/CHF hits fresh highs above 0.9300
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF extended gains during the American session and printed a fresh 3-day high at 0.9303. So far the pair has been unable to rally above 0.9300 and currently trades at 0.9295, up 0.85% for the day.
The Swiss franc is among the worst performers across the board on Friday and is trimming weekly gains. Earlier today, Thomas Jordan, SNB Chairman mentioned that the currency was overvalued and warned that if necessary the central bank will intervene in the foreign exchange market.
USD/CHF still down for the week
The US dollar is rising versus the Swiss franc for the second day in a row, recovering from 3-month lows. Despite the recovery USD/CHF is still headed toward the second weekly decline in a row and the lowest close since early February.
