US: Building Permits (Jan) dropped to 937K

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The Commerce Department has informed that Building Permits fell to 937K during January, missing the median at 980K and lower than December’s 991K (revised).

New Construction of US houses dropped to 880K in the same period vs. forecasts at 950K and 1.048M previous (revised).
