German economy to expand 2.3% in 2018 - Bloomberg survey

The results of the latest Bloomberg survey of 48 economists on the German economic outlook showed that a majority of them see the German GDP growth expanding 2.3% this year.

2018 GDP seen improving to 2.3% versus +0.1% last survey.

Chance of recession happening in 2018 is 5%

2019 GDP forecast at 1.8%, unchanged from the last survey.

German 2-year bund yields seen at -0.65%, unchanged from the last survey.

German 10-year bund yields seen at 0.51% versus -0.02% seen in the last survey.
